50 Trim and Street Tires = LOL

Post by Knight » Fri Aug 21, 2009 7:07 am

60ft: 2.884
330ft: 6.5489
1/8ET: 9.3339
1/8mph: 90.18
1000ET: 11.7061
1000mph: 103.46
1/4et: 13.5294
1/4MH: 114.21

Went to the track with Liz and a few buddies. I went to go put my slicks on, and one lug nut decided that it didnt want me using the slicks today lol. So I dropped the air pressure down to 23psi in my 2/32 tread life KDW's  . This is my first time taking the srt to the track, let alone with my 50 trim on it and I must say it was a freakin blast! Minus all the spinning in 1st, 2nd, and some of 3rd when this thing hooked I was hunting down cars/beating them to the line  . With those mphs I am aiming for high 11's hopefully this year if I can make it to the track again.

Mod list:

50 trim with .48ar
19psi pump gas (Lots more boost to crank :D )
Crane 14 cams
3" 02 housing/open down pipe
DCR oil PUmp Upgrade
DSS Stage 3 Axles
ACT Clutch/ALuminum Flywheel
Diablo Sport Tuner
Ebay CAI

I wish I had some videos for you guys as it was blast watching inside the car running things down.

Man! Work on those 60's good lord. You can easily get to 2.2's on street tires if you work at it. PhillyLS1 got a 2.1 on street tires with a level head and the instant boost stock turbo.

Also, figure out why the lug nut said f you, and go back on slicks!!

Last year at the Mopar Nats I hit a 2.1 60' on bald (and I mean bald) KDW's on my stock wheels. It's not all that hard to do once you get a feel for the car.
