Trouble Code P0551

Trouble Code P0551

I did a search & its something about the Swith for the Power Steering. The guy who posted on it never did a follow up on it. So i need help!!!! :cry:

ok...
P0551 code in the service manual states.....
power steering switch fail, incorrect input state detected for power steering switch..PL: High pressure seen at high speed
Wich leeds me to believe you need a P.S. switch....

i just ordered one through O'Reilly Auto Parts. It will be here tomorrow for a lil over 20 bucks. Do you know where the switch happens to be located? Is it on the rack or the pump?

It should be on the rack, probably near the input shaft from the steering column...
