The battery posts screw in and you use stock terminals
You lay it flat in the battery tray and this covers it.
Here is an SRT with the same setup
Here is a pic of the terminals

That was a joke
As much as I enjoy saving weight, I rather frown upon my car not starting at -40. Stocker stays for me.

im not worried about the temp as it only ever gets to about mid-teens to twenties if that... its the reserve, only about 25mins
then again, when was the last time i had the radio/gps/stereo and the interior lights on for 25mins after the car was turned off

Well it was either the reserve or CCA that was going to suffer. I used to live in Southern Ontario, but I moved to Northwestern Ontario. It's a fair bit colder up here in the winter.

i've been running the pc680 for about 6 months. works like a champ and weighs about 20lbs less than a stock battery. i picked mine up with a mount, but it is very simple. just get a piece of flat steel or aluminum that is about 1-1.5" dimensionally larger than the battery. clamp the plate to the existing battery tray and drill holes at each corner making sure that the holes are beyond the edges of the battery. pick up 4 threaded rods of the same diameter as the drilled holes (1/8-3/16" should be plenty) and 12 nuts with lock washers. take the plate off of the battery tray and thread a nut 1" up from the bottom of each rod. place a lock washer on the rod after the nut and place in each of the four holes in the tray. thread a nut and lock washer onto the rod from the underside of the tray, install the tray and battery onto the tray. take the top plate of al or steel and slide it over the four rods until it rests on the top of the battery. lastly add the final nuts and lockwashers to the tops of the rods and tighten until the top plate is snug against the battery. whew....this arrangement has worked very well for me, plus it adds a nice flat plate to put stickers on!!! we all know that stickers make hp!!! i'm crap at posting pics but i can email pics if someone else wants to post them.
ooh...there's a glimmer of the dream left!!!

I like that...makes the engine bay look alot cleaner.
Ill have to look into this when my optima needs replacing, or when I just want something new.

With that drycell, does it seem like there would be enough room to fit an intake tube from a turbo through the space that was previously occupied by the standard battery? It sure looks like it, but I can't tell for sure. Battery relocation is always an option, but if one of these dandy deals will let the battery stay up front, and still allow a true intake to be used on a SRT turbo setup, that would be kinda slick.

Man, this would be sweet for my Daytona. The battery's going in the back and I wanted something small. That beats using an Omni battery. As far as not starting up during the winter time, this car won't even be registered during the winter months.
