where to give blood

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

If it were a real turbo, it would only produce boost when the tb is already partially or all the way open.

And I REALLY doubt 3 psi.

all the turbonator does is creat e restriction in your intake system. You will loose power. There is NO way the turbonator can generate positive pressure.

Your 2.0 liter engine sucks in more air n/a than that turbonator blows out. Like it was said above you will lose power.

turbonator doesnt blow anything or create pressure nor does it claim too. it is a piece of metal placed in the intake track to create turbulence in the air. air turbulence no matter what they say is not a good thing.

Either one of them is junk. The 'air flow turbulence thing' or the 'electric fan turbo' thing.

It is designed to creat turbulance. And this is intended to creat better mixture of fuel/air. Those there claims of better MPG. If all you where trying to do was get better MPG then it would work but yes it would probely cost power.

Turbulance is the same reason why there are injector humps in our stock manifolds. And why there are humps in other places in the head. All of which premote better fuel mixture but do cost power on a modified engine. If you just start removing these humps on a none moddified engine with no way to allow or make the air move faster (exhaust/cams etc) it will not give you much gains. Just worse MPG.
