SXT Srt Design Project need ideas

Being that I've been a Honda driver for a long time, I don't know too much about Neons. I have an '05 SXT with the SRT design package. I already put a Typhoon CAI in. The car is still under warranty, but it's not the end of the world to stretch that a little. I've heard about putting an R/T camshaft in. I would like to keep this N/A. I was looking at an OBX header with a 3" collector and a full 3" srt exhaust. The rear bumper is already fitted with the duals, so that's not an issue. When I have the money to do it right, I'm going to get a good Wheel Tire Suspension package.

Please give me ideas. unfortunately, I'm dealing with the 4sp tranny, but I'm not complaining because I got the car for free. That's always nice when you're a poor college student. Throw any idea at me in terms of adding power. I know a lot of things are really little, but all the little things will hopefully add up.

3" exhaust is going to me way too large for a stock, or even heavily modified N/A motor.

definitely do not do a 3" exhaust on a N/A 2.0

would 2 1/2 be better? also, since I live in ohio i'm not going to worry much about the converter

Do a comp 200 cam or crane 12 swap and pop in some magnum springs, and then do a Long tube header with 2.5" exhaust and cat delete running the spark plug non-fouler mod... then maybe you will gain a little more power, but then NGC Fairy comes and takes it all away... sigh.

I personally, if I were you since it is an ATX, I would do suspension stuff... these cars love to handle the turns, so I would start there -- big sway bars, poly bushings, new springs/struts or coilovers, strut tower bars, wider tires, and then you will be taking turns nicely.

Amen to that
But like yellowpatrol said, your computer will just snatch it all back. 2.5" exhaust sounds pretty good, I'd try to find a magnum head to put on just for a lil bit more power, suspension mods would be a huge  too
