01 Engine & A SRT-4 Engine

I was just wondering what the difference was between a Chrysler 01 lx engine and a 04+ SRT engine?? I got a 01 and was just wondering if what I can do to make it a SRT engine. Without having to go get a new SRT engine.
What other engines can i get into my car, I plan on doing either rally or track racing with the car.

It's a 2.4L TURBO...not to sound like a dick, but it'll never happen. It's a completely different motor with a new PCM.
What ya can do is take the turbo off and SRT and put it on your neon. Otherwise you have to switch engines

Theres nothing you can do, to make your 2.0L into an SRT Engine.
The closest you can do, is to bolt the turbofold up to your car and thats about it.
If you want your car to have an SRT engine, you'll need to swap, an SRT engine.
The engine options you have, in the order (IMO) of easiest to hardest...
Stock, Magnum, SRT, 2.4L, 2.0L DOHC.
