Pcitures of 2gn exhaust manifold?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Pcitures of 2gn exhaust manifold?

Post by Arro » Thu Oct 04, 2007 12:10 am

I wasn't sure if requests for pics also go in picture post section, so sorry Mods. Anyways...

Can someone post pictures of our nonturbo 2GN exhaust manifold? Preferrably out of the car.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that really IS like a header. Nice going, DC.

But I have a non-Magnum engoine, so I need a picture of a non-magnum manifold, but thanks i'll keep that for reference.

It is a horrible sight, and even uglier when you think about it controlling your exhaust gases...:O

both of those are actually headers and not manifolds, the non-magnum is just a poorly designed one. other than the "collector" on the magnum, that looks really nice.

The mag one is a header, while the cast non-mag is a manifold.

mag is definitely a header. the non-mag, on the quick glance i took, looked like a crude 4 into 2 into 1, but it's not. you're right.

2005 Silver Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Turbo -Daily
1990 White SR powered 240sx - My sliding slut.

I miss my neon at times. She treated me well and taught me a lot about cars in general. I will always have a special place in my heart for these cars. Heres to the 2gn community.
