CAI'S

hey has anyone experimented with a universal CAI? i'm looking to buy one for my 00 neon and cheapes one around is a universal one wondering if i'm better off goin for one made for my car or if this one would be ok. heres a link check it out tell me what you think:

$100.00 for "Universal" CAI????? Put your money into a decent CAI off of E-bay w/ K&N Filter.....You will spend less!!!!

universals are never universal, lol...spend the money and get one thats meant for your car

got mine from ebay for 00-05 and it came with 2 extra pipes and it works great i luv my cai i have had ppl ask if i had a srt4

+1 on the req for finding an eBay one with a K&N filter. I got mine for $60 shipped. All I needed was a gromit for the air temp sensor. Its a great deal when you consider those filters cost $40 alone.

thanks guys for the tip i think i will snag one of ebay anyone have any prefered one on there? i'm interested in gettin a red one would love to nake my engine with all the red parts i can get, debating now before short ram or the CAI

CAI, not short ram - you can get the same effect of a short ram by removing the top of intake box and resonator on your stock intake system.
