What Kinda Intake Should I Get?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

well considering your limited knowledge (no offence) if you wanted turbo i would suggest doing an srt4 swap...240hp but with daily driver reliability.

for a person such as yourself i dont think you'd wanna be diagnosing turbo problems every month with your boosted 2.0L.

also its hard to get any gains from a neon, even more so with 03+...

when my motor blew i contemplated an srt4 swap but its just a neon...i'd rather save the money for an sti or an m3 in a few years.

Well i have my Injen for like 3 years and it works perfectly and makes a good sound even in my 3speed AT neon 00, but i dont know if they still make that CAI, but i will recomend the K&N Typhon, or find some with madrel bent 50-60mm diameter and made of stainles steel and check they have holes for the sensors of air and the other

AS FAR AS turbo setups go, in the end the overwhelmingly dominant issue is: How much can you spend at one time?

If you can't spend the chunk of change at one time for the SRT engine, much less trans and other compenents, it might not be possible. Whereas a pieced-together turbo kit is something you can collect parts for.

BUT I do agree that it's going to be far easier to deal with than a finnicky 2.0L turbo conversion.

Yeah Injens are also good intakes. And they look nice, too.
Drive it like you stole it, and work on it like you married it.

ok ok, i see where your coming from, and yeah no offence taken to my limited knowlage what so ever no worries im not much of a car guy, i just like driving them, uhh well more like driving them faster than your supposed to (and anyways im kinda here on the forum to get a better idea considering every1 where i live is a bunch of idiots that olny have civics and saturns that are really old and beat up)..... i can give you anythign you need to know about paintball tho haha.... but yeah, another thing i was seeing was people putting P/T Cruiser engines in their Neons.... now if i heard correctly the P/T Cruiser was built after the Prowler. So my first thought was, what if you could get a prowler engine in a p/t cruiser? and then i instantly remembered people putting p/t cruiser engines and other parts into neons, and then thought. What if you could get a prowler engine in a neon? its an off the wall idea, and totally seems unable to be done without totally tearing apart your car, new frame new everything, but it would be cool i gatta say! and yes make fun of me if you must. but i still think it would be cool if it even were considered possible

What are the costs of Injen intakes? and yet i still havnt really gotten a list of conponents to get for the turbo?

nahhh its the 3.5L v6 from the intrepid r/t, 300m and LH cars and rwd soo its not even worth it...makes the same power as an srt4 but probably heavier and slower due to an auto tranny.
