coming from my own personal experience with the srt rear; the glasspack will only deepen the sound, not dapen the noise. If you are crazy or dead set on continuing to use the srt rear, invest in a spiral muffler.

If you ever get a longtube header, GET YOURSELF SMALLER THAN A 31'. You will have no room in there. Cabin noise is going to suck, I highly reccomend against the SRT/Glasspack combo. The droning gets OLD fast.

a baffled glass pack like this might do more than most glass packs. I have a glass pack on mine with my vibrant dual exhaust and even cat. Its a very pleasing sound.
edit: kc2002acr for link fix

If you don't like droning, don't do a srt swap. At 80 it gets a bit annoying.

I do 15+ hour trips with mine. I don't think it's that bad.

Everyone in my car seems to fall asleep from the droning, keeps it nice and quiet in the car
Sorry little off-topic

Is the droning from you or the car?

At 60 it's not too bad, but I noticed 80 is ridiculous. Yesterday it didn't feel too loud going 80....meh

And the sad part about this topic, NYS police stopped me with my stock R/T muffler stating I had a modded exhaust and it was to loud
PS - no cat, so maybe...

The thing I never liked about the idea of swapping the SRt exhaust onto a non-SRT car was the lack of muffler.
SRT's don't need it, since the turbine housing muffles much of the sound already.

Not ENTIRELY on-topic but: on the subject of Droning, the Dynomax system is notorious for that.... My setup has a LTH ->hi-flo cat -> 2.5" piping -> Dynomax turbo muffler. 65-75mph it drones like a mother, above that it quiets down. Meh, go figure... now back to your topic
