VERY BIG PROBLEM

Post by BluSXT » Sun Feb 24, 2008 9:24 pm

i own a 2004 dodge neon sxt and it had a relay problem. The auto-shutdown relay didnt work, so it wouldt even turn over. i replaced it and still nothing. so i posted a previous topic about it on neons.org and a guy told me how to bypass the relay so i did it and it started right up! after driving it for about 10 minutes it shut off and wouldnt turn over again. So i popped the hood to check the relay and see if my bypass came out and it didnt, so i re-adjusted my bypass wire and still nothing. the fuel pump dont run or anything, nothing happens. im completely lost on this one....please help!

the ASD relay is tripped when the PCM detects a problem.

if you bypassed the ASD, and now the car doesn't start. you mostly burned something out, possibly the PCM. Check all your fuses.
