is it me or is there no HOW TO on intakes? i bought an intake but it came with no instructions so i'm in dire need of one.

It's simple... Ready?

remove stock Airbox:
1.) take out old intake box (3 screws holding it in the engin bay, 4 to the throttle body inside the box)
2.) remove the vacuum hose from the airbox and the filter and tha sensor on the elbow. remove airbox and little tube.
3.) in the driver side fender there is a resonator box held in with 2 screws/bolts. take them out and remove the box. I did it without removing the front bumper (had to jack up the front end to get it out)

Install CAI:
1. CAI should have come with the curvy tube, filter and a coupler and a rubber hose. if it came with a small straight tube there should be 2 more coupler. if not, you will have to buy a coupler at autozone or any other auto parts store

2.)Install the tube on the end of T/B with the coupler. put the filter on the end of the tube inside the front bumper

3.) reinstall the vacuum tube and sensor in the holes (if no holes are present you will have to buy a kit from autozone that has the bit to drill the propper holes and grommets and such.

if the bellows tube is included, remove the accordian tube from the TB and install a coupler on the end of each end of the metal tube (3 inch-2.5 inch couplers on each end if the pipe is 2 inches. the intake mani and t/b are approx. 2.5 inches.) Tighten these couplers well or you will get a vacuum leak.

I think those will get you by

pretty nice. I kinda forgot about how easy it is with these cars.

i think i'm missing the rubber hose that goes in the large tube's side hole. here's a pic with the stuff that i have:

The hose you're looking for is on the car itself. That's for the IAT (Idle Air Temperature) sensor, which may still be attatched to the stock airbox if you've taken it off already.

Looks like you're missing a coupler and the vac line tube. no biggie. you can get a breather from autozone
