Well you asked how much hp you'll get off a stock magnum intake manifold and if it would fit. And you also said that your running a comp 400 "all motor cam." Just going by the facts dude.

I was just saying that his car should either be turbo or have spray to be able to come close to an srt. That setup will get you maybe mid to low 15's from the information given. If you don't want people to know what was done with your car and it's fast don't say you tear up srt's without somebody wondering what you have done. And yes the intake manifold will bolt right on. There is also an intake manifold called a lone wolf intake manifold for turbo setups. Thats another reason I had asked, because turbo manifolds can be different from all motor intake manifolds. Sorry I had asked about it.

oh so you being a smart a** saying i must have magic power or they didnt know i was racing.that has nothing to do with what i posted about.of course i know there racing if we're on the strip!!
no my car doesnt have magic power and you automaticly asummed you got more power by what little i told you, so you made this a completion, nobody needs to know everything i got under my hood just for a intake. and i also told you that we are all still cool, dont make this bigger than it seems.no hard feelings to everybody!!!!

someone ask me if i got head work,i said yes and cam gears and a comp 400 camshaft thats not all the work done to the head,i told you my friend did some work to it that i dont know about, this was his head before mine.thats not even half of whats done to the whole motor.but this is how it all started bro!!! no hard feelings!!
thier isnt to many 4 banger dodge neon heads people in my area so i come to yall like rare speices

Your right all intake manifolds do the same thing with whatever setup you run. Your right I don't need to know whats under your hood to try and help you out even though you don't want help. The magnum intake manifold fits. You won't gain much noticable horsepower. Good luck with your car.

Very easily go to an autoparts store and rent a chrysler harmonic balancer puller, heat it up, and yank it off. Heat up the aftermarket one or stock one around where the shaft is inserted and throw it on. Unless you were being sarcastic. If you were sorry it's got to be like that. I wasn't trying to start anything I just was trying to help you out.

Like a mapp gas torch or some kind of handheld gas torch. I used a mapp gas one. You should heat around the bolt(thats where the shaft is at) You can turn the crank all you want it won't mess with timing or anything because the underdrive pulley just runs your powersteering, ac, and your alternator. But of course there is the bolt that's in there holding it on I believe it's a 3/4 or 19mm. You'll have to loosen the alternator belt to get the old one off and tighten the belt or the new belts that come with your pulley after it's on. The powersteering and ac belt is the bigger one and you could probably yank it off with your hand or if you cant there's a belt tensioner that loosens it so you can get it off.

Impact guns are the most amazing tools ever made while doing this, if you have one.

You don't have to heat the bolt, you have to heat the pulley. While your working on getting the old one off put the new one in the oven to heat, as long as your significant other does mind a bit of a smell for awhile.

If you change out an underdrive pulley and blow a piston rod due to it.... You need to kill yourself in the most painful way possible.

wow we really got some people that really wanna challenge me.
first off dude you dont know s*** about what i run,but i will fill you in in just a min. second) you can put just about anything in any car,
third) if my cam is mild, mentol,or full flavor,it doesnt matter to you how i run it, and fourth that was a 2.0 motor in that talon, not a dohc motor.so now what, your gonna say that isnt possible either?
dont tell me what i shouldnt be working on buddy and yes,i do run magic power..lol and i have button that i can turn it off and on either way it goes, your car wouldnt stand a chance. and dont judge me about some underdreive pulley (udp) im getting info on :thefinger:

They don't make a sohc 2.0 talon, but I wasn't going to say anything. I decided to drop it. I guess nobody knows anything about cars but him. Let him have his day of grace.

Your fucking retarded. Take some pics to prove us wrong.

If you have a head from a 2gn DSM in your car it'll look like this:
Image
Or this:
Image

There were only two motors offered in the DSM cars the 420a is one of them which is similar to a neon's motor, but the head design is different. The intake is on the back, the exhaust is on the front. The 4G63 motor is a completely different design. They both look like DOHC motors to me.

The 2gn eclipse motor is a 7-bolt...faaaaar weaker then the 1gn 6-bolt, so whatever person swapped that is stupid too.

So of the pics that I gave you, which head does yours look like?

my friend has a 3gn eclipse that has a SOHC, but that's a 3gn not a 2gn and like mentioned above the heads are completely different, the intake and exhuast are on opposite sides
