3gn eclipses have 2.4 and 3.8 liter motors. No sohc talon head will fit a neon block!

Regardless, a magnum intake mani wont work on a talon head.

Ummmm.....The Talon DL from 92-94 came with a 420A, which happens to be pretty much the same 2.0l SOHC found in the neon, as well as eclipse's and avengers.....I still think this dude is kinda crazy but thought I would just point that out!

Yeah, the 420A is not the same as the 2.0l sohc. The block design is similar, the transmissions will work, but the heads are completely different. If you were to look at the pictures I posted, the 420A is the 2nd picture, and you can see that the intake manifold is on the back of the motor, and the exhaust is on the front of the motor.

Theres nothing to challenge your a tool.. You have no idea what your talking about with your sohc talon head ported and polished to the moon.. Your running a stock sohc motor as previously stated but all the sudden you have a comp 400 and all that jaz theres no way your even keeping up with srt 4s even a 03 with lots of boost leaks..lol.. Im not trying to get your panties in a bunch you just have no idea what your doing or saying obviously.. Read read read on the forums before you post garbage and stupid questions.. You dont have any mods done to your car if you cant even install a udp.. good day

For starters:
1GN/2GN talon-eclipse-lasers came with 2 motors....
420A which is the DOHC 2.0 with a reverse head....
4G63 which is a 2.0 DOHC turbo Mitsu motor....
If you state you have a modded talon/eclipse/laser head on your car you went DOHC and NOT SOHC. Your asking questions related to a SOHC head but keep stating you have the talon.eclipse/laser head wich is DOHC.
As for the 3rd gn I'm not sure about but there were SOHC heads available for 1GN/2gn motors but they are NOT compatible with the talon/eclipse/laser block....they were only used on the Mitsu 2.4 blocks.....
After reading all 3 pages of this useless topic, I'm going to lock it before any more issues happen!
All of you were warned by the mods to knock it off and this topic continued, if you have no respect for the mods here on 2GN then you should not be here!
Take this as a "WARNING" 2GN is a friendly community, BUT if you abouse a moderator and do not do as they ask you will either have your topic locked or worse case scenario be banned from 2GN!
This is not another forum that people are used too, 2GN will not tolerate any of this crap posted here......
