spark plugs from dealer

ok my cuz works for a ford dealer and we were talking about plugs and wires and he said he checked for his 03 mach 1 ( he uses only dealer parts,since he gets a discount) about plugs and wires superceeding (sp) and what not and the 03 are different and he told me to find out so what are the DEALER RECOMMENDED spark plugs and wires

Dealer recommend plugs would be the RC9YC (iirc) Champion copper plug. That has been the recommended plug on every neon that left belvedere.

I have not been a fan of the Champion plug, so I use NGK's.

The type of plug is all about reliability. There will be no performance difference in switching plugs.

That will help I think. As for plugs, I prefer the Champions (and yes, RC9YC's)
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

It's kinda funny that the standard issue plugs are Champion and the Mopar Performance ones are Bosch. Might have something to do with the former regime. :-k
