hi ive noticed recently there is a slight tick at idle .. there is oil in it im wondering if i have a messed up valve or is there some way to adjust it... it goes kind of like ticktick.......tick............tick.......ticktick only at idle?? any ideas

you wont find a neon that doesnt have a slight tick. your fine.

Yep, my vehicle has that tick as well.
I have found it does vary. I just switched from Mopar conventional 5w-30 oil to Pennzoil conventional 5w-30... will see if that has any effect.
Too early to tell at this point.

glad to be of help. from what I have heard (not expierenced) swtiching to a 10w30 oil can reduce this tick slightly. might want to try that if it just bothers you.

the problem is dodge got cheap and didnt put a good enough oil pump.
