Alright, I have it on my summer to do list to cut out my hood for the PVO mod, but I had another idea and wanted some input on it. I no longer have working foglights. I've had the dealer fix it 2 times already under warranty, but I'm coming up on the end of it, don't have any problems, and having to pay a 100 deductable is just stupid. Plus, I don't know what they'll think of the left over nitrous wiring sitting around.
Anyway. since I have no foglights, I was pondering the idea of pulling the left one out and running either flexible exhaust line or a flexible plastic line from the opening to the hole in the side of the airbox.
My one concern is if doing that would ruin the point of the ram air hood, or if it wouldn't really matter if I do both.

I was going to give that a try, but never got around to it. I would do both, but don't know how it would look.

ha, well, to be completely honest, I don't care how it looks. I was even thinking of doing the same thing with the other opening, just not to the intake. well, when I get home for the summer I know I'll give the hood a try, and then I'll see if I can't get a baseline for it, then try it with the inlet at the foglight too. I'm kinda interested to see what if any difference it'll make in a 1/4 mile.
