If you look on the underside of the SRT4 hood, right in the area that is over where the stock air box sits, you will see a partial "circle" stamped into the sheet metal. Looking on top of the air box lid will reveal the same "circle". When these two "circles" are cut out, they line up. Put some of that gray foam around one of the holes using 2-sided tape, and you have a ram air set-up.

IIRC there is a post on here that has pics. So the newer air box lids actually have a circle cast into the plastic? I know my '01 does not. Not that I'll be doing this mod, just asked out of curiousity. And maybe for those of us that have pre-'03 air box lids, and might attempt this.

if you don't have the circle on your airbox, cut the hole out in the hood, put the tape on the hood, then put powdered chalk or flour or something like that on the foam, and when you shut the hood it will mark the airbox.

Right...pre '03 wouldn't have the circle in the air box lid because they were pre-SRT lids. Not many early-early build '03s had them either, since they hadn't switched over to the modified molds, yet.
Wenuden has an excellent idea
