Alright well I don't want a fart can or an SRT rear section, but I do want a nice, deep, throaty sounding exhaust. So what are some good mufflers that will give off that kind of a sound? I'm pretty new to mufflers so I don't know what is what. Magnaflow, Flowmaster, all of them are foreign to me.

Magnaflow camaro? That's what Amit (03_sxt) has and I thought his was completely custom. Hmm. Didn't know it was a new trend. I may look into it now.

edit: not like I'm just trying to follow trends lol. But if it has worked for a few people I may look into it and some alternatives.

Nah. The Magnaflow muffler for the Camaro/Firebird is the best sounding IMO. Also the Mopar by Borla is very good, and so is...Uh...Shit. I don't remember.
I think there needs to be some custom fabbing done to the Magnaflow muffler, though. I think the stock pipes are too small, which isn't hard to get around at all.

We had a discussion about this a while back. I put up a few sound clips towards the bottom of the page. I believe blackrose put up a few of his flowmaster setup. http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=30465&highlight=
I think Trubendz uses the same magnaflow muffler in their kits, but I'm not 100% sure. http://www.trubendz.com/home.asp?produc ... type=main5
With their kit the muffler is visible from the rear, mine is tucked away where you can't see it.
