ok u can buy at any advanced auto parts etc a flush kit witch has a t fiting that goes on ur heater hose from the fire wall to the thermost and u cut the hose put a t fiting tight the clamps and conect a water hose to it, the kit comes witha adapter the fit ur radiator cap u romove the cap put the fiting and run the water till its clean, once thats done drain the raditor and fill it back up 50/50 water/collent its done. after i done it to my car about 2 weeks ago its a major different even my idle fells difrent temperature is down. i also go a new termost and housing and rad cap. u change if u want but i did i can sent u picture of the kit if u would like!! let me know
Be careful with the drain cock...if you've never flushed it they have a tendency to break.........off
BTW how do you change the thermostat on these cars?

Drain coolant
Remove the two screws that hold the fill cap/t'stat housing to the head
Set housing/upper hose aside
Remove/replace t'stat with bleed hole up
Replace/reuse o-ring at own risk
Install t'stat housing back on head
Fill slowly with coolant
Hope that not too much air gets trapped in head, giving you fits.

I reused mine. 130,000 and still sealing. These are far better than the ones they used in the 2.2's. (water pump to block) Or I'm lucky. The way I see it if it's still pliable, not torn and isn't compressed it should seal. O-rings>gaskets. I have had far more troubles with t'stat gaskets.
Edit: And that would be bi***.
