When I start the car drive for a little bit then it just shut's off completely no power from battery. I cleaned the terminals over and over they seemed oxidized, now they're pretty clean drove from work home and after like 30 mins tried to start nothing. Never done that before, thinking to replace new battery terminals. Any ideas suggestions would be appreciated,

did you check the grounds, maybe one is really rusted or perhaps broken

Battery is fine alternator, battery terminals, found new problem, now it won't even start, or when all the lights work tried to turn on headlights shuts off, or when i turned on ignition, same thing, and + terminal is getting really hot, i'm thinking maybe one of the wires i busted from computer or fuse box.

do you have power inside the car. i had almost a similiar problem where i blew the starter fuse in the fuse panel in the engine bay no power what so ever from the battery, no dash lights, no radio, no power to windows or sunroof.

I checked the fuses they're all fine, power does come on for a little bit but when car starts or i turn on the lights car shuts off, and + terminal gets hot.

could be very possible that a wire some where in the fuse block in the engine compartment is shorting out to ground. positive terminal get really hot?, you would have to pop the fuse box up and remove the bottom cover and check to see if a wire is either touching the body, or is shorting out on a ground wire.

The (+) terminal may have an internal problem inside the battery, or your alternator may have a short. Check by the starter to see if there is a fuseable link, or if it has been replaced with regular wire.
If there is a wire that says fuselink or similiar then the alternator is prolly fine as the link would be blown, and you would't be getting any charge from the alternator. (If you're sure your getting power from it) The next thing would be to remove the PDC cover and check to see if the connection from the battery to the PDC is hot. if it is cool, then the cause of the heat is from the battery to the starter/alternator. If it is hot then the cause is somewhere in the PDC/related wiring. Just don't burn your fingers!

You've definitely got a short. Somewhere...

Is it possible if one of the relays went out? starter?

if your terminal is getting hot there's more than likely a short somewhere in the system. i'd go through it with a fine tooth comb

Can't really see any visual damage, i checked all the grounds, cleaned them, same thing, I've tried my buddy's battery from his v6 rl, and my car started no problem lights everything worked but positive was still getting hot, don't know where to look nomore

Start pulling fuses/disconnecting stuff that don't cut power to the PCM till you find what's causing it. Check the battery connection at the alternator, sometimes there is corrosion there that causes a semi short.

Today i've checked alt. battery, everything seemed fine, bought new battery, everything started fine drove to couple places stopped at gas station, started turned on lights boom same thing power cuts off, I recently purchased h.i.d lights if that would make a difference, but before the h.i.d kit i've never had anything like this, maybe I need a bigger fuse for hid lights?

I don't have too much experience with HID's but I would start by un hooking them and see if the problem goes away. Before you have more $ in charging system parts than what the HID's cost.

I had really bad P+ terminal , bought a fancy one the problem went away and i took off P+ wire from starter wire brushed it all put it all together fired right up and works fine so far, I appreciate everybody's help
