Intake Question

Post by 04_yelneon » Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:20 pm

Is the stock SRT intake manifold better flow then the stock intake manifold from a 04 2.0? Neighbor cleaning out her garage, shes has a few stock srt parts... Just curiuos if its worth swapping them out. I know itl be pretty easy to do, but will it have any performance out of it. Thanks to all....

Not unless you have supporting mods to back it up, and I believe you will have to do some mods to it to get it to bolt up to your head. IIRC the bolt pattern is a bit different due to the SRT being a DOHC.
But if it is free.... get what she is throwing out and sell what you don't want.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.

It's not that easy to do, the SRT has a completely different bolt pattern, and the shape of the runners are different. It'll be more beneficial to run a magnum intake off a 01-04 r/t.

So is this stuff just being pitched, or does she want $ for it?

She had a yard sale last weekend. All she had at the time when i was over there was the intake, stock fuel pump, ECU, and some stock injectors. I can go over and see what she has left. Il leave another post here as soon as I find out ...
