hi every one am looking at taking my engine out to take off the a/c pump and to fit a udp for it would be easer then doing it on the car or would it???
i was looking for a how to remove the engine cant fined one so has any one got any pointers???
is there a how to???

You want to remove the engine to take off the a/c compressor and bolt on a UDP? Talk about overkill! Save yourself a days work and leave the engine in.

It's just a matter of removing a few bolts to take off the compressor. Removing the lines and purging the coolant in the system is a little bit tricky, but it's not real hard.
In my opinion, you should leave the compressor on and just use a shorter accessory belt to bypass the A/C. It saves the trouble of removing the system, but it's still there in case you want to use it again later.
