About to go BIG (not FMIC)

OK, my dillemma...
in a couple weeks, ill have another paycheck, and money for financial aid...
Im thinking about grabbing this head for sale its 1000, probably bump me up about 35hp, im guessing. this head is completly gone through.
once I do that, im on a path to moneypit hell, but ide have a pretty decent setup for anything in the future! (I.e. turbo apps, ms2 or 1, ect ect.)
do it or not? SOOO tempting!

Dude you're still going to need a manual transmission to really get better gains...not to mention building the bottom end

You will need it with a 14. Valve overlap is going to mess with your o2 causing fuel headaches.

Crane 14 on an NGC car is bad times. Mix that with a auto trans and a 9.3 compression is a setup for failure. You wont see any gains, if anything you'll see losses.

Yeah, I didn't even look at his MY. The 14 would prolly build less cyl pressure untill it got into operating range. Making the dynamic C.R. even less in the sub 5500 RPM range..
