I need your help guys (and girls), I have an chance to get a Mag head, cam, intake and exhaust manifold, VC, and other small parts for $500. No bottom end and its all used. I do know the owner personally and hes taken good care of everything. So is it worth it?

Well I did it. I bought the swap. Since the seller knows me he took off $50 so that came to $450. Then he being the pack rat that he his, he had a brand new AEM Intake for the Magnum's under a pile of parts. I also picked that up from him for an additional $120. So all said and done Im pretty happy with my purchase. And while I spent a bit more then I wanted I feel it will be worth it in the end. PICS!

I agree, but I wouldn't even make it pretty. You can't see the exterior when your driving the car, so why waste the money? Spend that cash on performance, then all you need to do is make the rear of the car look pretty, because that's all people will be looking at

Not bad. I guess I got fairly lucky, I got a complete engine out of an '02 R/T, from coil pack to drain plug, with accessories and wiring with 50k miles, for writing off a $500 debt that someone owed me.
