TB Mod part 2

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

TB Mod part 2

Post by 04_yelneon » Thu Mar 19, 2009 2:14 am

So after driving for a couple of days my engine light came on. And after doing some reserch here on the forum, I found that this is a common problem with this mod. I got the code P0123- TPS is higher then acceptable voltage. So I am assuming that the mustang TPS was at a higher voltage then the what the neon is putting out. The size in the wires is a pretty big difference too. Knowing this, I dont really want to modify the TB and put on the neon TPS. I read about plugging up the IAC, then sliding a tooth pick through ect... I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Besides this, everything else is good and this mod exceeded way more then I thought. This is by far the most power out of a single bolt on iv had so far.

you need to figure out how to adapt the neon sensors to the tb.
Yup it definately needs to go lower. If its not scrapeing constantly why you are driving then its not low enough bro.
