"make-up" filter for 05

Ok, so my maintenance log book calls for the replacement of the "make-up" filter which states it is in the "air cleaner". I went to autozone and they said there is no (or perhaps they dont have) cabin filter. I even asked them to check for "make-up" filter, but no luck.

So my question is, where is this "make-up" filter and / or "air cleaner". ?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

Thanks!

Hmmm. I thought that was the filter for the tubing leading to the PCV? I can't imagine that being the filter for the cabin air?

i belive that line runs to the back of the valve cover and your car does not have a cabin filter but there is a good write up on how to make one

Ok, so no cabin filter. Yep, I found that article during my search and it is great.

Thanks to all for the replies.

I picked up one of those from the dealer, they correctly call it a crankcase vent filter. The part number is 05066076AA and it cost about $4. Expensive IMO for what it is.

For some reason, my parts guy has started giving me things at cost plus tax. This confuses me.

$29 for a drain plug washer? The thing had better jump out of the package and install itself for that price. :tardbang:
