ok well on the oem motor mounts, like are they notorious for failing or something.cause man my top motor mount was bad and i had that one on there since like 2 maybe 3 years ago. and my lower motor mount wich i didnt notice it was bad until i installed my top one is bad also. and that bottom one has only been on there since september. so what can be going wrong for my motor mount mainly that bottom one to go out so fast.
and i didnt have to pay anyhting as its lifetime warranty but i was just wanting to know.

Um to answer ur question yes they do fail OFTEN thats why so many people switch to aftermarket solid mounts. If thats not an option for u then maybe u can try the stock mounts with the urthane inserts.

If the transmission side mount, and the MM in the center passenger side (bolts through wheel well)are shot, it will cause more stress on the torque struts, which is the correct term for what you are replacing. But everyone referrs to them as MM, so no biggie. You are looking at prolly over $100 to replace those two items, but it is worth it.

if the rubber is shot in the torque struts (upper and lower) just put some prothane inserts in. I've got the red race inserts and there's not a lot of extra vibration. Only at idle, but it's not even that bad.

I did the torque strut enhancement, but then the movement transferred to the other two mounts. Now that they are replaced, it is much better.

Define bad mounts? ?? because i a lot of people think the mounts are bad once they start seeing hairline cracks in the rubber, which are normal. unless the rubber is completely separated, you don't have to worry about the mounts..
post pictures of your bad mounts !!!
also, did the link i sent you work?

man i acutally didnt take any pics of it but they gave me new ones at advanceautoparts the other day. but on one of the mounts like the center could of been pushed out and the bottom mount well was a little cracked but taht little bit caused it to still move. so with 2 new ones it doesnt jerk anymore when i put it into reverse or drive or anything.

My mounts are bad cause they're stock. I don't wanna post pics cause I'm embarrassed, though.
