Coil and Spark Plug Wires

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Did they make it so you could get roadhead while driving down the road without a girl in the passenger seat?

Otherwise they really didn't do anything.
Dude, stop that. I almost spit water all over my laptop.

Any kind of roadhead without a (legal age) female involved is just wrong!

Er, um Stock coil/Taylor Spiro Pro wires/Bosch copper plugs.

That was the topic wasn't it?

The wires don't do a damn thing in regards to the spark patterns. Thats all in the coil.

Yes, MSD stands for Multiple Spark Discharge. That is a good thing for engines that tend to run a little rich down low on the rpm band so that all of the fuel gets burned.

Not saying that one is better than the other, because really there isn't a "best one"

wires really don't do anything, unless you actually need more spark to get to the plugs

And to add to that, the MSD coil does not put out multiple sparks per event. It is just the brand name.
You will need a controller wired in somehow to get true M.S.D., or longer duration sparks. (Jacobs Electronics)

It is the same basic coil as the oem one. Just red with a sticker.

What's a "four bagger"? Is that like when you go to the grocery store and you've got a lot of heavy shit?

"Hey Stan, I need some help over here! I thought it was a three bagger but it ripped and now there's baby food all over the floor. Guess it was a four bagger after all."
