Need HELP Big time!!!
Im driving down the road a few days ago an I noticed a little red light kept flashing at me in the top right corner of the gauge cluster. Well I didnt really pay a whole lot of attention to it at the time and when I got home I hit the lock button on my remote. I came back later and when I pushed the unlock button, my alarm started to go off and now I cant get it to go off to save my life. And of course I cant start the car. I turn the key and nothing happens. But everything else works just fine. I have a 04 MTX SXT. Iv tried disconnecting the battery, an when I connect it back, the alarm continues to go off. I checked fuses an relays. I then found out that the red light that flashed at me was the Anti-theft alarm light. So I think it alarmed it self and I dont know what todo. I just had a new ECU installed by dodge last week. It ran perfect for a week, and now its in this stage. Does anyone know what this is. or what to do. Thanks

Um, call the dealer and have them tow it in and fix it. I'm sure there is some kind of warranty on parts/labor/services.04_yelneon wrote: I just had a new ECU installed by dodge last week. It ran perfect for a week, and now its in this stage. Does anyone know what this is. or what to do. Thanks
At least you didn't shut it off in the middle of nowhere.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Not necessarily... I had a key problem one time: I went to start it, it ran for two seconds then shut off. Tried it again and the same thing happened. The next morning I went to start it with a different set of keys and it was fine. Drove it to the dealer and they fixed the problem for me for free. Luckily, this was while it was under warranty.Swordfish2Cowboy wrote:It is the dealer's fault.esfan wrote:should be dealer's fault.
Before this time I had never taken a trip to the dealer except to buy the car.
