Can anyone tell me about the quality of this engine?

I am Looking after it proper good oil, premium fuel etc...regular services....

Will it just keep going...are they good engines or are they known for issues...

and what are some common issues I need to know about...

It currently has about 80,000 KM on it....(not miles)

What i've learned just like any other engine. and in turn take care of you. My engine is at 200,000 miles and no major engine work has been done* Like any car parts get old and need replacment.

Shit transmission lasted 200,000 miles love 3spd FTW

*normal services have been done aka timing belt water pump etc etc.

premium fuel is not necessary. Just stay on top of regular maintenance and it'll last a while.

Remember he lives in Australia. But their "premium" is prolly better than ours. :( The octane rating method is prolly different too.

I just got rid of my DD at 200,030 miles. Didn't burn a drop of oil.
