So i can get my hands on a magnum intake manifold for about 50$ but! it doesn't have any butterflies so i'm wondering if without the butterflies if it will bog in some rpms? and cause a damage in my power?

Does it atleast come with the motor for them? If the rail is still in there too, its pretty easy to make some. I think I show the ones that I made in the first page of my project log.

Here's a dyno from BoostJunkie on the other org. He shows the difference with the butterflies open or closed. Leaving them open all the time is going to hurt your midrange some.

Maybe with a light and a small mirror on a stick through the inlet. The TB/bellows will need removed of course.
