rebuild ideas/help

right guys and girls looking for a little advice after messing my engine up with to much nitrous and now it wont rev over 4000rpm with out banging and popping realy loud am going to rebuild it a lot stronger and faster.

just need to know whats good and whats bad

is this any good thinkin of going the hole hog

and been looking at the zex street cam. is this any good for my r/t???

i know this is not every think i need like vales and cam gears but just really looking for advice from ppl who have or have used these parts. any help would be great :D

Since you're rebuilding it get forged internals. It will be much stronger. Now is the time to go turbo! :D

Forged rods and pistons FTW

Get the 8.8.1 compression if you ever decide to turbo that bish

is the motor shot for sure? sounds like a map sensor problem

I would have to agree, (not actually hearing it run). If it seems fine below 4000 rpm, I wouldn't think it was a mechanical problem. If it back fired the IM at all, it may have messed up the MAP sensor.

What does it actually do? Does it bring it up to factory specs or make it stronger?
Sorry, not trying to hijack. But it has to do with the ? that is asked...

would you go one better on thne cam???
like a 400 but were do you get one from???

if using a 400 cam would there be any valve clearance issues when using 10.5:1 pistons????

i believe not. ZeroChad just did his rebuild and he has the 400 cam and 10.5:1 forged internals. check out his log for more info.

right after talking to ZeroChad i have just ordered the comp cam 400 and a Fidanza cam gear.

going to wait to open the mottor up before getting the rebuild kit want to way every thing up 1st.

nain things pistons, cam, head work, air intake st/st header and exhust????
