It will fit. Be prepared for noise complaint tickets.

Although it's fairly loud, I ran this on my '00 and it wasn't too terribly loud. As long as you aren't at WOT like...ALL the time, it'll be pretty mellow.

On a side note, 2.5" might be a bit overkill, especially since it's an SRT exhaust.

fart can? it's a full exhaust man. muffler in the midpipe. it'll be low and sound decent. it's the volume that's the problem.

I would think that would be silly loud, I know when I put a full stock SRT exhaust on my 2000 (it has 2 resonators) it was stupid loud. I would just be prepared to add a proper muffler at the back, that's what I ended up doing.

i dont think 2.5 is overkill.

all neons except for us 2000 owners, came with 2.25 inch piping that bottle necked down to 2 at the muffler.

i think the srt-4's were the same as well. 2.5 should be the maximum you go on a n/a neon. 3 inch would be overkill

2.5 is what you want on a n/a build however running with out a muffler will be really annoying and loud.

I have a 2000, and currently have a 2.25" exhaust on it. Unless you're truly building the car/engine, I would imagine this exhaust would still be overkill.

it sounds worse than a fart can and could actually slow down your car. not worth it in my opinion. stock r/t exhaust is visually appealing and more throaty than an sxt single exit. dont you allready have stock r/t exhaust?

i have stock piping save the down pipe from my muffler, and the pipe ends at a rice cannon and its pretty loud, i'm not proud of it, but it is funny to annoy people, haha

*sits back and waits for someone to say that you need backpressure and this system doesn't deliver that*

i was so happy with my r/t exhaust it is respectable. if you are looking for a hint of performance and a "tuner" sounds get a thermal R&D r/t style rear section. or get like a duel outlet dyno max or flowmaster camaro muffler or somethin.
