so i found a port and polished sohc intake from a 99...the guy says its aluminum...will it fit my 02?

No '99 SOHC Neon had an aluminum intake manifold. It's from a late '95 or early '96.
Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.

Furthermore, plastic doesn't hold onto heat like aluminum does.
Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.
