ok ive ran thru the searchs and from what im gathering, when i buy an intake for my car i will have to find one thats specially for the magnum motor because the regular 2.0 one will not work???

am i reading all that info right, and if so someone help me find a cheap ass magnum CAI on ebay all i can find is the standard 2.0 ones

Ones with a hard pipe between the IM and the TB, yes, because the angle is a little different. From the TB to the fender well, it should be the same.

I'm sure with a little creativity, the standard one would work.

i dont have the money for a good one right now, i had an ebay one on my last car and never had a problem with it.

eventually when i get settled in at my job and our new place ill have some money to throw around, till then i hate havin that huge air box and shit in my way

If you can wait a while I will be selling my Injen CAI for the magnum engine, PM if interested.

that ebay one is missin afew couplers if thats all u get is pictured... and ebay or injen its all a metal peice of pipe.... and for next to no gains other than sound, (unless ur turbo, heavily modded, etc..) i would not waste the money on a high dollar name brand..... example, the AEM and ebay special are IDENTICAL...... albeit maybe diff in metal quality, but not enough to warrant the price..

right i know they dont provide any major gains, i litterally just hate that huge ass air box in the engine bay. and i want somethin cheap to kinda clean it up

Cheap and clean don't belong in the same sentence in my book. Why not just wait till you can afford a quality intake?
