Here is a better way to go about answering your question. Let me ask you some first...
How long has it been doing this?
Did anything happen right before you noticed this?
Have you done anything to the car before this happened?
Does it happen all of the time, or just every so often?
Does the car drive the same as it did in every other way?
Normally things like this don't just pop up unless something changed recently.

Has the idle been high since you installed the CAI?

There may be a small leak around the coupling from the manifold to the TB.
Honestly 900 rpm isn't that much off the mark. 750 to 800 is pretty normal.
Check all your vacuum lines, possibly one might be getting dry rotted, and moving things around may have cracked it a little. Also check the throttle cable slack. If you repositioned the TB it might have had a small effect on the cable length. Not likely, but worth looking at. This would be more of an aftermarket TB/cable bracket issue. if the cable has any sharp bends that weren't there before the CAI, it may drag enough to keep the throttle from seating on the stop. Try routing it beneath the IM if you moved the throttle closer to the driver side, or kinks if it is closer to the IM.

Then the good money is on a vacuum hose not attached to the CAI.
You did connect the breather hose to the CAI, yes?

The breather line is non-vacuum, so it wouldn't matter if it were connected or not. It just allows the VC to share filtered air with the engine.
Sounds like a leaking coupler at the TB/manifold to me.

That is pre TB, so it shouldn't create a vacuum leak. Just an unfiltered air leak.
Now if the oem filter/tube was plugged, not letting the PCV pull in air, it might be compensating now.
Edit: TMFS!

got to be a vacuum leak a good way to check is spray a small amount of starting fluid were you think the leak is and if the car idles up you found the leak
