need help

okay there is a guy on crigslist parting out a srt-4 i asked him for the rear section and he sent me a picture of this its a exaust system but it aint stock

here is a picture of what it looks like

he wants 40 for the rear section and 60 for the whole thing pictured

know what i want to know is if just get the rear section can i just add it on my stock piping

No. It is not bent like an oem SRT rear section. You would need the complete system to make it work.

okay and if i buy the whole thing will it bolt up to what i have or would i need to upgrade on some stuff

Yes, but the mid pipe doesn't appear to be a standard hookup either. There is no flange at the front on the oem SXT pipe. There was prolly a flange that that bolted to from their downpipe.
I can't tell from the pic if there is a flex joint there, but I can't see that bolting directly to the stock manifold.

Looks worse than stock, he probably has rice in his blood and just wanted bigger exhaust tips.

Yeah, the whole system would be needed. Where it connects to the downpipe would need a little cutting / clamping / welding to get it to stay and mount up and fit right. May not be a bad investment for $60 as you could get totally squared away with a new system for close to $100 probably after shop work. It will be fairly loud though. Maybe rice loud.
