Hmm. If you want to see if the pcv is cracked at the vc take the hose side off the intake and plug that hole with your thumb while it's running. See if that brings the idle down.
Make sure the intake mani bolts are tight. With that many miles they might have loosened up or the gasket may be bad. (All of that unheard of)

Yep. I'm running out of ideas so I'm throwing out random shit.
EDIT:
Now that I think about it. I took my TPS apart to clean it out. When I put it back together, I put it in like backwards or rotated it too far or something and as soon as I started the car up it had a cel for tps sensor and it was revving. Took it back apart and put it back together differently and haven't had a problem since.
Did you have the TPS apart?

I honestly can't remember. It's been since last summer that I took mine off. Just take it apart, rotate it a different way and put it back together. That's what I did till it worked lol.

I don't think it should spin 360 degrees. Just about halfway like you said.

Well see how it has the bowtie type recess you can put the "shaft" in the recess 2 different ways if you understand what I am testing to say... easier to show you. I would come over if I had spare time but im busy till Monday

Funny. I, too, am busy until Monday
Yeah. I was out there doing it at 11:15 tonight, so I was sorta half-ass testing and mounting. I know that there are the two recessed areas to mount it, I just need to make sure I'm actually trying two different ways instead of doing the same thing over and over and over.
At least now there is hope that my TPS isn't shot.

Hey, while were discussing problems. I came across a backwards "b" in a post on this site. Can anyone tell me how they did that??
