Exhaust options
Ok guys, I need some help here..
I have a limited option on my exhaust due to the long tube header I have on my car.. I got a high flow cat on now and a vibrant dual rear section.. I don't like the sound it makes (still too ricey for me)...
I wanted to know if any of you guys know of a nice deep tone exhaust option I could go with.
Thanks
-Chris

Or just go with the camaro setup if you want dual exhaust. If not, go with the black Vibrant can everyone and their mom has now.

Does the vibrant muffler come in the 2.25?
I mean it has to, since neons are using it.. I just didn't find it online (the one superdan has on his neon)

Your exhaust is always going to have that rasp crap to it. It's the header. Unless you pack muffler after muffler in your midpipe, then put a HUGE muffler @ the back, then you may get it hide some (if you stay below 3k). That's the main reason I'll never go with a true header OR catless (I know you've got a cat). I hate the sound and it's not worth the "gains" to be annoyed on a daily basis.

Try capping off one of the outlets. (if they are both 2.25" or larger) You will be amazed at the difference it makes.
A true resonator from a good exhaust shop will help also. I have a puny little 8" resonator in my mid pipe. I was thinking to my self when they welded it in, WTF is that going to do?
I have to admit, it lowered the noise level by a fair amount. I do not have a LTH, but the muffler I got was a bit louder than what I cared for. It might have been "Quiet Flow" on the V6 Camaro it was made for, but not so much on the neon.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
