hey all i am looking into getting a exhaust system for my car in a couple of months n was thinking of going with the following:

Of course i will be cutting off that fugly tip n going with sumthing stock looking
with
Will the manifold n down pipe bold up to the exhaust piping? or will i need to cut n fit a cat in between them to not throw a code?

Technically, those two should bolt together. (however, I wouldn't be surpised if they don't quite work out). If you want a cat, you'll have to cut the downpipe and probably the midpipe to fit it in between the two.

Personally I wouldn't use a header that doesn't have a single mounting flange just because they usually dont match up and you have to heat and pry on them into place. If the mid pipe dont match the downpipe you could always chop an inch or 2 and have a bolt on flange welded on.
But yeah... that should work

Thats the exhaust I have on my Orange car, minus the tip.
And I also have that downpipe at home. Have no use for it now.

yes unless your rocking the spark plug non fouler trick.. ive been running that for 500 miles and no code on my boosted setup
