mag. head gain
does anyone know how much hp and lb-ft a mag. head swap gives you?

Just the head alone might give you 3 to 5 hp.
This has been discussed before, but not for some time. (So I'll save the "Use the Search Button" lecture)
The complete package from the factory was only 18 rated hp. It was mated to a lower ratio transmission to make better use of that 18 hp.
So even if you have the head, cam, IM, header, and PCM, without the transmission, that 18 hp will not feel as peppy as the engine in the R/T or ACR.
But the Mag head will/should give you better gains, over the standard head, as you add more to the mix.
The only huge difference is the exhaust port design. The intake ports, and valves are basically the same.
IDK if anyone has ever dyno'ed a Mag head with the standard cam/IM.
