rt exhaust on sxt ?

i have a friend that just brought a neon rt just to fix it up and sell and he said he would give me the exhaust off it because i was planing on puting the stock srt exhaust on my sxt anyway alls i want to know is does the rt exhaust give my neon some hp or tq or would it jst be simpler to just get the srt exhaust?

Probably about .5hp.

it's more about the sound.

My understanding is that the SRT exhaust is ridiculously loud and raspy unless you put some resonators in the mid pipe.

You will need an adapter to use the R/T rear section. The inlet for the R/T is 2.25, and your SXT midpipe outlet is necked to 2".

Unless he is giving you the whole exhaust system.

If you don't want it, but are getting it for free, you could easily sell it here, once the FS guidelines are met.
