I got with it, the SXT/SRT mid-pipe adapter and being that it has been pouring down rain all day, it looks like the install will have to be a little later. However, I'm a little confused about this adapter...and maybe it's only because I'm not out at my car w/ the axle-back stock muffler already removed?
lol But...what side of the adapter goes on the stock mid-section and which side goes on the R/T axle-back? They both fit over the mid-section, but only the smaller side of the adapter actually looks like it will fit in the R/T side? The other side of the adapter seems to be the exact same OD as the R/T side...? So - if that's the case...why do I even need an adapter? LOLThe adapter P/N is 82208484

Wait...I think I get it now
lol The stock SE/SXT/SRT mid-pipe necks at 1 7/8" (just measured...) which would be way to small to fit into the stock R/T 2 1/4" OD. This adapter measures 2 1/8" OD and the smaller neck is 2 1/16" to fit more snug in the 2 1/4" R/T axle-back! Gotcha!
