Does anyone have one that I can barrow? I need to get this head torn down so I can start working on it. I'll pay shipping. Thanks for the help.

Just go to o'reilly or Autozone and rent one or buy one new, I think the lisle branded one is only 10-15$

SOHC or DOHC. With SOHC you can take the rockers off the rocker arms and just use a ground down wrench.

I used hammer and socket but do it in a small, enclosed, clean, well-lit area....those keepers are small and they can really fly. I did mine in the driveway in the evening and spent a lot of time crawling around with a flashlight
