Finally got the srt 4 throttle body mounded

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Finally got the srt 4 throttle body mounded

Post by DodgeEvo » Fri Jul 29, 2011 4:40 pm

Well as some of you know, I have been looking for a throttle body for my sxt. As of today I finally have a srt 4 throttle body instead of my stock one. Thanks to boostalot717 by selling this one to me I am finally happy with that mod I have been wanting to do since day one. Everything went pretty easy and smoothy. I even got a test ride in after I was done because the rain held off and all I can say is heeeee! :laughbounce:. Until I found out that one of my family members has cancer, which sucks big. :sad1:

Eh shouldn't this be in the progress section? And really sorry to hear about the Big C, hopefully they will get better.

No problem on the TB. Throw up some pics of the install, interested to see the finished product.

mounting wasn't hard at all. My cold air intake has that little nob that sticks out and hold the intake from moving. That what is holding the throttle body right know until I can get working on a custom bracket. It doesn't move really at all. I put it threw some hard pulls and revs, also too see if it would throw a code since am using the stock TPS from mine sxt. Don't know if that would or not, otherwise my car is running good and I have notice alittle better fuel economy also.
