Lucky Me U110C

Post by DodgeEvo » Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:04 am

Well last night running to the pizza shop, I get to the end of the road and my check engine light comes on. when I got home I pluged in my computer and got the U110C No Fuel Level Bus Message. Been doing reaseach all night and this morning only able to find out that it might be my fuses, instrullent panel not completely pluged in, or pcm is on its way out. help please why I try to catch some shut eye. :sleepy2:

You cluster may be bad, if the gauge still works. The fuel gauge only communicates with the PCM to tell it it is low on fuel, so any misfires will be ignored, if say it is misfiring from lack of fuel. If the other gauges are working, the PCI bus is fine. It all communicates through one wire. If you have a fuel light, it might also need the bus to activate it.

I doubt a bad sender, or wiring between the tank and cluster will set this code. I never got it when experimenting, to take advantage of the misfire monitor being shut off. ('02 PCM UDP issues)

Well I couldn't sleep so I went back out and checked fuses and the instrullment panel and pushed on it alittle and felt it move. I started the car and the check engine light is out. Took it out for a ride and nothing poping up or binging. So am just guessing when I was driving one day maybe I hit a pot hole or going over a speed bump it came lose and last night driving did it. Knock on wood and hopefully it doesn't come back on.
