Will it work? Don't see why out wouldn't. Are all the sensors the same?

It should work, just find a coupler to use between the intake manifold and throttle body, not sure if the stock plenum tube will work.

Sensor wise, I think you need the SRT IAC, but that's it I beleive.

Yep, with all the sensors that it came with, and an adapter, it will work fine.

Would it be worth it if I'm still running stock plastic sohc im?

Ya it would. I did it to my sohc and all I have is an CAI with the stock IM. You will notice a little more prep, at least I did.

It depends on how easy it is for you to adapt it to the stock 2.0 bellows. (rubber accordion to the IM)

i don't see the point of having such a large TB when your intake manifold is only like a 58-60mm opening

What size is the srt tb? Isnt it 55mm..

52mm at it's smallest size.

So its not much bigger than the 49mm that I have now. Think 3mm is enough to be worth 130$ to buy it??

Eh?
I think you mis read something?

The oem plastic IM is only about 52 to 54mm at the opening. The Magnum is about the same, the SRT I have no idea.

The 2gn TB is 52mm at the plate for both ATX and MTX neons. The SRT is 55mm at the plate. The SRT TB can be bored out.

Ohh ok def dont have my facts straight.. Sorry bout that haha

Either the 1gn ATX, or MTX TB's are 49mm. Thus where the confusion comes from.

After the plate on the SRT TB it bottles down to 52mm IIRC

From the link I provided:
kevo wrote: Ironically, the srt throttle body and spacer combined is the same length as the stock 2.0 throttle body. Unfortunately the srt throttle body tapers down to 52mm at the plate and then dumps back up to 55mm at the spacer. Of course, the only solution to this is to have the throttle body itself ported to 55mm, and a new plate added, .
So according to that it is the same as the N/A TB at the plate. I don't have an SRT TB to actually measure, so I can only take Kevo's word for it. The plastic N/A Tb is larger than 55mm at the opening IIRC.

my bad, i was taking a stab in the dark and for some reason was thinking of an aftermarket SRT throttle body because i didn't see the point in a stock one when there's performance throttle bodies out there for the 2.0

yeah, i just didn't know the actual size of the manifold inlet. but since this person is considering a larger TB...

Wouldn't a 60mm be too big? I don't have anything done to the engine

It is only too big if you go to WOT more often than needed. It works fine otherwise. You just need to control the urge to floor it. Even the 52mm will bog under the right conditions. But the initial "part throttle" response is where the larger TB shines, even on a bone stock engine.

I have a feeling the 41/40te ATX would be a little more "forgiving" with a 60mm than an MTX, or the 31th.

Sounds good to me.thanks for all the input guys. And thanks for the link for the throttle body at modern performance. Didn't know they had brought it back. If anyone has a tb for sale let me know. Thanks
