If you want to move it to set timing, loosen the rocker shafts back off, then the valves will all be closed, and you can do w/e you want and not bend valves. If the cam gear has not been torqued, this is the best insurance, in case something slips while torquing the gear.

well, its been a little while since my last post.

Now the engine is running again. everything rebuilt, started her up and runs beautifully!!!

quite a bit of white smoke from the exhaust but i guess thats normal to start with while everything is new and 'burning-in'

just have to finish off the brake system then bleed it all through :D
