Sluggish Acceleration while turning from stand still...
So I have this problem with my acceleration. It only happens when I am making a turn from a stoped position. It seems like the car is not getting much gas and it takes it a few moments to catch up with me hitting the gas, then it kicks in. This does not happen on a straight away like taking off from a stop light it goes.. Anyone else have this problem or have had it an know a possible reason for it? This has been happening for a while but not so much that it warrented much inspection. Thanks for you help.

Possibly the pressure switch is bad on your steering gear? When you turn the wheel, (not moving) can you tell if it is raising the idle? The IAC should open up some to maintain idle speed, or increase it a little. You may need to remove the air cleaner to hear it.

Not sure about that. Will have to check that out in the morning and let you know. Where is the pressure switch located? Incase that turns out to be the problem so I know the repair involved.

Thanks . I seen them for about $25 on Ebay. It does not seem to change idle when I am turning the wheel. It does not have an increase. So I am guessing that is an indication of the pressure switch. Thank you for the link.

Went to the local autoparts store and got one for $22 and changed it out. Was not hard and fixed the problem. Thanks for the advice. Will do a photo how to for everyone to compliment the how-to listed. Thanks again for the info.
